ESPN gives Northeastern Area 5 Community Service Award
On December 7th, ESPN Monday Night Football presented Special Olympics Wisconsin Northeastern Area 5 with the Fans Helping Fans Community Service Award for the outstanding services they provide to the Green Bay area.
Special Olympics athlete Martha Hill, Regional Director of Sports Carla Lieb, Regional Director of Development Kathy Walker and Board Member Brian Lammi attended the "Chalk Talk" community event to accept the award. The event featured ESPN personalities Steve Young, Suzy Kolber and Ron Jaworski as well as former Green Bay Packer Players Antonio Freeman, Desmond Howard and William Henderson. View event photos

9-Pin Bowling Tournament
The first 9-Pin Bowling Tournament – a new partnership between Special Olympics Wisconsin Area 5 and Prevea Sports Medicine – was a tremendous success! In honor of National Physcial Therapy month, Prevea employees, family members and even some of our very own Special Olympics athletes participated in this inaugural year….and raised over $2,500 in the process! A huge thank you to Pro-Bowl and Prevea Sports Medicine – THANKS FOR BEING A FAN!
