Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. This year 285 Plungers helped raise about $64,000!

Pre Registration

Avoid long lines, turn in pledges, & pick up incentive prizes.

Cafe Hollander will offer all participants who pre-register a free Frites Cone and Hot Chocolate during pre-registration

Plunge Parking & Transportation Options

You may park at Mckinley Marina and take the free shuttle.  Street parking may also be available.  Shuttles will be running between the UWM campus Student Union, Café Hollander, Mckinley Marina Parking lot and Bradford Beach starting at 9:00 am and run until 3:00 pm.  Shuttles are being provided courtesy of Atlas Transit and will be marked as the Bradford Beach Polar Plunge shuttle.  Each Shuttle pick-up location will be designated by yellow signage.

  • Bradford Beach Plunge Site- 2272 North Lincoln Memorial Drive, Milwaukee, WI

Get your Polar Bears Now!

Businesses sell them for $1 for YOU! Plungers can contact Special Olympics office at 262-241-7786 and request a Polar Bear Icon kit which contains Polar Bear Icons and instructions. These icons can be sold for $1 each at area businesses and can count toward your pledges. The Polar Bear Icons are FREE to plungers and come in sets of 25, 50 or 100. Each plunger is responsible for picking up proceeds before the event and turning them in with your pledges.
