World's Largest Truck Convoy

for Special Olympics Wisconsin

Truckers from all over the US will join the World's Largest Truck Convoy for Special Olympics. In Wisconsin, the Convoy will be escorted by law enforcement to the EAA Grounds for a celebration recognizing truckers and the support of the trucking industry. It is our way of saying thank you for your commitment to Special Olympics athletes and for keeping America moving.

Convoy Start:

  • Pioneer Travel Plaza in Richfield (off of Hwy 41)
  • 6:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. Registration/Check in
  • 8:45 a.m. - Driver's Meeting
  • 9:30 a.m. Convoy Begins

Ending Celebration:

  • EAA Grounds
    3000 Poberezny Road, Oshkosh, WI
    11:00 a.m. (Approx. Time)

Types of vehicles that can participate: Semi-truck, truck/trailer combination, fire truck, dump truck, flat bed, bus, large tow truck or large box truck. All trucks must be 10-GVW or larger. Please note: No trucks with hazardous materials, alcohol or tobacco names & logos permitted.

Interested in your company being lead truck during the Convoy?

You may bid for this privileged position the morning of the Convoy at the Pioneer Travel Plaza at 9 a.m.

Sponsorship Levels:

Guardian Sponsor - $5,000

Up to 20 entries in Convoy, one placed in first 15 trucks
Company name/ logo on the event t-shirt (must commit by August 1)
Company name/logo placed in event program, kick off sign & Web site
Opportunity to display four sponsor-provided banners at event
Opportunity to include information or items in participant bags
Recognition at celebration party ceremony
Lunch for corporate representative and/or drivers

Gold Sponsor - $2,500

Up to 15 entries in Convoy
Name placed in event program
Opportunity to display two sponsor-provided banners at event
Opportunity to include information/items in participant bags
Recognition at celebration party ceremony
Lunch for corporate representative and/or drivers

Silver Sponsor - $1,000

Up to 10 entries in Convoy
Name placed in event program
Opportunity to display one sponsor-provided banner at event
Recognition at celebration party ceremony
Lunch for corporate representative and/or drivers

Long Haul Sponsorship:  $500
Recognized as Long Haul Sponsor in event program
Opportunity to include promotional item in goodie bags for all participating drivers
Lunch for company representatives at Convoy Celebration

Short Haul Sponsorship: $250 
Show your support of the trucking industry and the truck convoy by purchasing an advertisement in the event program given to all attendees. Limited business-card size ad spaces are available on a first-come, first-accepted basis. Advertisement logo and/or text can be e-mailed to kkloepping@specialolympicswisconsin.org

More information

  • Sponsorship amounts are tax deductible in accordance with applicable laws
  • Registration must be received by August 15, 2008 to guarantee a goodie bag (includes t-shirt) the day of the event. Registrations received after this time will be sent items at a later date.
  • Additional lunches can be purchased at registration for $5 each
  • Additional t-shirts are available at EAA for $12 each (choice of sizes limited)
