Hi, my name is Renee Cappetto and I’m a Special Olympics Athlete and a Global messenger. I have been in Special Olympics for many years; I do a lot of different thing in Special Olympcis like softball, track and field, gymnastics, volleyball, bowling, powerlifting, swimming, sking and much more.

I like to given my best in Special Olympics and to help out my fellow athletes, coaches, and volunteers. Special Olympics has change my life in so many ways and has given me a positive outlook on life. I have met so many friends through Special Olympics area and at state meets and also at the 2001 World Winter games in Alaska. I competed in downhill sking and won three gold medals.

Special Olympics is my life, Special Olympics gives me joy, happiness, sportsmenship, positive adittude, friends, incouragement in life it self. Special Olympics will always need special people like you, to help out special people like us.

Thank you for being a big part of Special Olympics family. Your all so very wonderful to all of us athletes. Thank you so much for giving your help and support from around the world. Im also on the law Enforcement Torch Run Committee, I enjoy helping out the officers.

I think it is very important that athletes have the right to help make decisions about their Special Olympics programs. I would like to thank all of the officers who make a big difference in our lives. Special Olympics would not be possible without all your help and love.
