SUMMARY:Whitewater Law Enforcement Torch Run- Final Leg
DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate in Whitewater a successful Torch Run season but also cheer on our athletes as we open up Summer Games at Perkins Stadium on the campus of UW-Whitewater. All athletes\, officers and community members are welcome to join us. If you have already signed up and participated in a Torch Run\, please consider one more. If you have not participated already\, you will need to sign up at the link below. The tentative schedule is attached below: \n-All participants will congregate at Cravath Lakefront Park in Whitewater between 4:45pm and 5pm \n-Participants and officers will be organized \n-Final leg starts at 5:15pm \n-The TENTATIVE route goes as is: Northeast on Whitewater Street\, turn left onto Main Street\, right onto Freemont Street\, left onto Schwager Drive\, and right into Perkins Stadium. \n-The Parade of Athletes/Opening Ceremonies will start promptly at 6:30pm. \nAfter the Final Leg and Opening Ceremonies\, all law enforcement active or retired are welcome to come to the Dale Brunner LETR Celebration. DESCRIPTION:Special Smiles (funding provided by Delta Dental of Wisconsin Foundation) performs dental screenings to increase awareness of oral health. At the screening\, dentists and hygienists identify oral problems\, while athletes are provided with hygiene education\, a “goodie bag” with dental care items (automatic toothbrush while supplies last)\, fitted mouth guards and fluoride varnish! SUMMARY:Healthy Athletes - Fit Feet
DESCRIPTION:Fit Feet screens the medical wellness of athlete’s feet.  Education on foot and nail care will be provided by podiatrists and podiatry students.  Socks in a variety of men’s and woman’s sizes will be given away to athletes that attend Fit Feet (provided their size is in stock) and no tie shoelaces (while supplies last).  We also have orthotics available for those athletes in need. Stop by the Fit Feet venue to take advantage of this fantastic service!
