DESCRIPTION:Menomonie Red Cedar Special Olympics wants to invite you to their TWELTH Annual Basketball Tournament.   \nWe are thrilled to be hosting an invitational tournament on February 1st\, 2026 at Baldwin–Woodville High School and Greenfield Elementary in Baldwin\, WI. \nOnce again we anticipate starting at 10:45 with opening ceremonies and games starting on the hour beginning at 11:00.  This may change if we have more teams\, but we would schedule local early if needed. \nWe will also offer one round of skills ball during the tournament. \nThere will be concessions at each school.  A lunch for $6.00 per athlete/coach will be available with ticket purchase. \nCoaches need to email Roxi Wakeen rosters and rankings.  As the state has requested:  lowest ability teams are considered a 1.  Top teams are considered a 10.  There were two different groups last year.  Please make sure when you send the rosters that you identify the team name and the level of ability.  We try to keep the teams close so everyone has a great day. \nIf you have any questions or need further information\, please call Roxi Wakeen at 651-894-3385.  Her email is roxiwakeen18@gmail.com.

DESCRIPTION:Healthy Hearing conducts hearing screenings. Reduced hearing can have a significant negative impact on an athlete’s ability to respond to directions\, as well as understand verbal information from coaches at practice and competitions. Hearing loss affects one’s safety and interpersonal relationships. A hearing screen is the first step in the process of identifying hearing loss and preventing its negative effects from occurring in sports and social events.  Athletes that attend Healthy Hearing will receive a free gift! \nSOWI is excited to have a collaboration with HEAR WI to bring additional Audiology services to this event! Athletes with a need identified during the Healthy Hearing screen will be referred to HEAR WI’s Mobile Audiology Clinic (MAC) for further testing\, earwax removal and/or hearing aid check & cleaning. MAC will be parked outside Mountain Bay Entrance in the side Parking Lot. \n
