SOWI & Forward Madison Unified Soccer Team Tryouts

The Unified Soccer Series is a partnership between Special Olympics Wisconsin, Forward Madison, Special Olympics Nebraska, and Union Omaha. The series will include home-and-away matches between unified soccer teams in partnership with both USL clubs.

There will be a tryout held to create the unified team. Both Special Olympics athletes and unified partners are invited to tryout. The tryout will take place on Sunday, April 2nd from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Breese Stevens Field in Madison, WI.

The unified team will play two matches against the SONE Unified Union Omaha team. There may be other required events including a signing day, practices, and team social events. The official matches are:

• June 24th: Omaha Nebraska (Werner Park)
• August 12th: Madison Wisconsin (Breese Stevens Field)

Notes:

• All athletes and unified partners that register for the tryout must have the appropriate paperwork on file by Friday, March 31.
• The tryout registration will close on Friday, March 31 at noon.
