Ferrall, Kassens, Krebs, Kuklinski Join SOWI Staff

Special Olympics Wisconsin announced the addition of four new staff members in 2023, bringing a variety of experience and bolstering programs and fundraising staffs for the statewide organization.

Kaytlin Kassens assumed the role of Athletic Director for Regions 2 & 3 on June 26. A UW-Madison graduate of Rehabilitation Psychology, Kassens previously served as the Sports & Programs intern for SOWI for the 2022-23 academic year.

Joining Kassens in the Sports & Programs team is Danny Kuklinski, assuming the new role of Director of Training & Games Logistics. Previously with Cardinal Stritch University Athletics, Kuklinski will be responsible for developing and implementing coaching training and recruitment plans while supporting Games logistics. He began his position on July 3.

Camryn Krebs will join the Unified team at Special Olympics Wisconsin as Early Education UCS Manager. Spending the past two years as a Special Education teacher, Krebs will focus on outreach for daycares, preschools, elementary schools, as well as overseeing the Young Athletes program. She will debut at SOWI on August 2.

On the Development & Special Events squad, Christin Ferrall was announced as Development Director of Region 6 on May 8. Previously with United Way of Dane County, Ferrall will work closely with athletes, staff, and donors in southwestern Wisconsin to support mission-based programs and initiatives.

SOWI also announced the promotion of Brytt Biesemeier to Senior Director of Special Events. Brytt joined the SOWI team in June 2022 as Director of Development for Regions 4 & 5, and assumed her new position July 9.
