FMFC Inks Unified Team 2.0 on Signing Day

Twenty-two Special Olympics Wisconsin athletes and unified partners signed on the dotted line this month, announcing Year Two of the Forward Madison Football Club Unified Team.

This year’s Flamingos represent the local agencies in Madison, Sun Prairie, Columbus, Oregon, Silver Lake, Neenah, Green Bay, and Milwaukee and Unified Champion Schools of Columbus, McFarland, and UW-Madison.

The home-and-home series with archrival Union Omaha and Special Olympics Nebraska will kick off June 24 at Union’s Werner Park in Omaha. The series will return to Madison’s Breese Stevens Field August 12.
