Visits planned for La Crosse, Madison, Milwaukee areas to benefit Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics Wisconsin, and Stars and Stripes Honor Flight
MARCH 9, 2020 — (PRESS RELEASE) The Green Bay Packers today announced plans for the 15th annual ‘Green Bay Packers Tailgate Tour,’ set for May 15-17, which will travel from Green Bay to the La Crosse, Madison and Milwaukee areas to visit with fans and thank them in person for their support.
The tour will stop in La Crosse on May 15, Madison on May 16, and Milwaukee on May 17, with tailgate parties held in each area to support a local nonprofit organization.
The tour will celebrate the upcoming 10-year anniversary of Super Bowl XLV by featuring Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy and Super Bowl XLV champions Tramon Williams, Nick Collins, John Kuhn, Brandon Jackson, James Jones and James Starks.
Tickets for the tailgate parties at all locations will go on sale Friday, March 13, at 8 a.m.
The tour will take place aboard a customized motor coach emblazoned with the “Green Bay Packers Tailgate Tour” logo and the phrase “Touching Down in Your Community.” In addition to the designated locations, tour celebrities will make surprise stops as the schedule allows.
The La Crosse and Madison tailgate parties will welcome the tour celebrities at 6 p.m., and festivities will run until 8:30 p.m. The Milwaukee tailgate party will welcome the tour celebrities at 1 p.m., and festivities will run until 3:30 p.m. A local non-profit organization will host each party, which will feature food, giveaways, question-and-answer sessions and autographs, all included with the $75 tailgate party tickets.
General admission tickets also will be available for $15 for each location, which include access to the Q-and-A sessions as well as general tailgate party activities. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
One hundred percent of the Tailgate Tour proceeds will benefit the hosting organizations.

- La Crosse: May 15, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the La Crosse Center, with doors opening at 5 p.m. To benefit Habitat for Humanity La Crosse Area.
