Flag Football

About Flag Football

Derived from the popular sport of American Football, Special Olympics Wisconsin flag football is non-contact. Games are played between two teams of five players who pass or run the ball down the field to score touchdowns. Unlike the professional sport, offensive players are stopped once a flag from their belt is tugged free and there is no kicking or punting.

2026 Competition Options

All teams will compete at Fall Games at DeForest Sports Complex September 19-20, 2026. Teams must turn in scores and commentary from two scrimmage games with registration.
