2025 Competition Options

Half-Court 3-on3: Special Olympics Wisconsin will offer Half-Court 3-on-3 basketball during the Spring Season. Athletes may compete in more than one sport in the Spring Season, with some restrictions based on State Games scheduling conflicts. Athletes in Half-Court 3-on-3 Basketball may also compete in Swimming. Athletes in Half-Court 3-on-3 Basketball may not compete in Basketball Skills or Team Basketball.

Basketball Skills: Basketball Skills Level 1 and Level 2 will be offered during the Spring Season. Athletes may compete in more than one sport in the Spring Season, with some restrictions based on State Games scheduling conflicts. Athletes in Basketball Skills may also compete in Swimming. Athletes in Basketball Skills may not compete in 3v3 Basketball or Team Basketball.

Team Basketball: Team Basketball is part of the Spring Season. Athletes may not compete in any other sport in the Spring Season in conjunction with Team Basketball.
All teams will compete in the appropriate Regional/District competition based on their region. Teams that receive a Quota spot at Regional/District will advance to the Northern or Sectional Tournament. Teams that receive a Quota spot at Sectionals will advance to the Spring Games. Teams that place 1st in each tournament will receive a quota spot. Additional quota will be distributed by random draw.
